PMUC is launching a new way of betting through USSD

The PMUC, through its lotto and sports betting brand bet237, has launched a new way of playing, called USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) and which allows you to play the Africa Millions lotto on the MTN network through SMS.

By dialing #059#, the user calls up the bet237 menu and can play lotto 5/90 as well as Africa Millions (5/50). You must first have a Mobile Money account credited with real money.

When asked, the Director of Lotto and Sportsbook, Jérôme DUFOURG said: “It is a great moment for PMUC since we are the first gambling company in Cameroon to allow Cameroonians to play for free without hidden costs or data. This will also make it possible to develop financial flows by mobile money in the country.”
